Three Reasons to Vote for Ken...

  1. EXPERIENCE: Ken has spent that last 28 years working in the field of criminal justice.  During this time he has been a prosecutor, public defender and a private attorney.  As an attorney, Ken’s practice has focused on complex criminal cases in various Criminal Courts throughout East Tennessee.  Ken has regularly taught legal education seminars to other attorneys across the State of Tennessee and has also served as an Adjunct Professor at the UT College of Law.

  2. BACKGROUND: Ken worked his way through college and law school.  Ken completed about half of his undergraduate degree while on active duty in the United States Army.  He served with several elite military units such as the 101st Airborne Division and the 75th Ranger Regiment.  Even though he worked all the way through law school, Ken graduated 8th in his class.  He received numerous honors upon graduation from the UT College of Law.  His degree was with high honors, he was awarded the Order of the Coif, he received the James L. Powers Award of Excellence in Criminal Advocacy and also received a Dean’s Citation.

  3.
