Three Reasons to Vote for Ed....

1.  My 34 years of business experience in the private sector.
   

2. My part time government experience as a councilman.
   

3. Neither myself, nor any member of my family has ever worked for Knox County, so I have no conflict of interest.
   

Ed's Thoughts On...

Knox County Schools:

We have a great school system but it needs better funding to attract and retain the better teachers.

Property Taxes:

Current taxes provide an adequate cash flow to fund our county government.

Development:

We need good, quality development for our county to prosper and for real estate valuations to increase. However, suburban sprawl is becoming excessive. Developers need to focus on redeveloping land in the older part of our community, particularly downtown.

Environment:

Knox County needs to use more energy efficient vehicles and make its buildings more efficient and environmentally friendly. More focus on environmental issues and recycling should be made in our schools.
